If you live in Camposol
We are in Puerto de Mazarrón, in the same municipality. Eye care and hearing care under one roof, so both are sorted in a single trip — and you are seen in English, German or Spanish.
One trip for both
From Camposol, any appointment means getting the car out. So the thing that matters most here is not the price: it is how many times you have to come down. When your eyes are seen in one place and your ears in another, every check-up means two journeys.
Here both are done in the same premises by the same person. You can have your eyes and your hearing checked in one visit, and if anything has to be ordered, you collect it all on the same day.
In your own language, start to finish
We work in English, German and Spanish. It is not a sticker on the door: it is the person explaining the options, the timescales and what each thing costs, in the language you think in.
An eye test means choosing between lenses that look alike and prices that do not, or between two hearing aids that do different jobs. That conversation cannot be had in sign language, and it is exactly where people end up buying what they did not need.
If you bring a prescription or aids from home
Bring them. British, German and French prescriptions are written in different formats from the Spanish one, and a prescription from a few years ago may have moved without you noticing: we check it before touching anything.
The same goes for hearing aids. Whatever the make and wherever you bought them, we run them through the analyser to see whether they still perform as they did from the factory, and we measure in your own ear what is actually reaching you.
What you can sort in one visit
Everything we do is under the same roof, including the hearing room — sound-treated, with a sound-treated booth inside it — where your hearing is properly measured.
- Full eye examination, including intraocular pressure
- Prescription spectacles: varifocals, occupational and single vision
- Contact lenses, including toric and multifocal
- Hearing assessment in the booth, with speech audiometry
- Hearing aids of any make fitted, and followed up afterwards
- Adjustment, cleaning and repair of aids you already wear
Common questions
Will someone speak English if I just turn up?
Almost always, yes — but say so when you book and we will give you an appointment with the person who speaks your language. That way it does not depend on who happens to be free.
Can I have my eyes and my hearing checked the same day?
Yes, and it is what we suggest if you are coming from outside the Puerto. Say so when you book so we can set aside the time for both, back to back.
Where do I park?
There is a public car park directly opposite, a few metres from the door. We are on Calle Hernán Cortés, in the centre of Puerto de Mazarrón.
Is there an audiologist every day?
Yes, every day we are open. The hearing side has been running here for twenty-five years; it is not a service that visits a few days a month.
